Lee Yankie has been playing the local area and all over the country for 20 years and his sound is a collection of influences that comes out as the sound of the gulf coast. You can expect southern sounds heavily leaning on the blues in all styles. Little Feat, Ray Charles, Muddy Waters are in the sound Lee has been spreading across the south for years. He’s also been in the popular New Orleans band the Honey Island swamp band for 6 years, so the Nola musical influence is in there too and brings him back to roots as being originally from Nola area.
