Saturday Brunch with Aa’Keela

“Lawyer by day, Musician by night.” Aa’Keela is an eclectic musician, singer, and songwriter, whose style includes soul, R&B, pop, gospel, blues, and country. She is a performing artist on roster with the Mississippi Arts Commission. A self-taught pianist and saxophonist, She has performed behind such artists as Melissa Ethridge and Le’Andria Johnson, and she has worked alongside Ann Nesby, Patti LaBelle, Vesta Williams and Patti Austin.  She has taught music to various church ministries for almost 30 years. Aa’Keela also leads her own energetic band, Aa’Keela & The Beats, and they have performed at festivals, corporate functions, weddings, proms, and private parties.
