About the event
Myles is a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and practices law in Gulfport, MS. Myles comes from a family full of musicians and began playing music at age 7, mostly playing drums. He played with numerous bands including Blue Mountain, and toured the southeast in the 90’s as a drummer in The Allmost Brothers, a tribute the Allman Brothers. In most of his early bands, Myles was not only the drummer, but also the lead singer. In his early 20’s, Myles moved on to guitar, and his band has opened for likes of Blues Traveler, Drivin and Cryin, and Michael Grimm. He also fronts The Petty Things, a Tom Petty tribute. You can see Myles playing with The Myles Sharp Band, Myles and the Stereo Junkies, The Petty Things, solo shows, or even filling in on drums for other local bands.
