About the event

Enjoy their tight and groovy sound with unique combinations of multiple cultural backgrounds and richness of intensity for music.

Keiko Komaki, a stunning keyboard player who has been featured in many significant artists like Marva Wright, Benny Turner, and Vasti Jackso,George Porter, to name a few. Her left hand produces incredibly mean and deep bass sounds and it will take the audience to swing, while presenting a funky melody with her other hand. She has toured over 25 countries as a member of the Playing for Change band since 2013.

Dynamic rhythm presented by Donald Magee without doubt leads your feet to the floor. The waves of funk his body creates surely represent the unique New Orleans style of joy. The beats are responsible for powerful music by Marc Stone, Jai Reed, and Glenn Davis Andrews and more.

On the powerful foundations of their fierce rhythm, June Yamagishi adds high-octane scream with his sparky guitar play. He started his journey of Blues with an opening act for B.B.King, as a member of the West Road Blues Band, the pioneer of the Japanese blues scene. Since 1995 after he moved to New Orleans, he has played an irreplaceable role in the New Orleans music scene by playing with Papa Grows Funk and the Wild Magnolias, two of the most respected and appreciated bands in the city, as well as those legends like Earl King and Henry Butler
