About the event
On Sunday, July 7, starting at 4pm, the historic Independence Blues and Southern Soul concert will take place at Ground Zero Biloxi 814 Howard Ave, in honor of Independence Day. We're celebrating independent artists by showcasing their diverse talents on a single stage. This event marks the first of its kind at any Ground Zero club. DJ Show Entertainment in conjunction with the Juke Joint Soul Music Tour, led by Lex Luga "Da Record Breaker" (a Radio/TV personality and producer of the Soul Music Awards). The tour features a lineup of Blues, Southern Soul, and R&B artists, each bringing their unique sound to the stage. The roster includes Musicdoll, John Haley, D Saunders, RJ Starr, Jackie Jackie, Mississippi Humminboi, Unkle Phunk, Aretha Henry, and Latrell Knight. Each artist will perform for 10 minute sets, showcasing their vocal prowess, hit songs, and dynamic stage presence. The event will be hosted by Lex Luga, with his comedic flair, DJ Show's DJing prowess, and Jam Production's expertise.
