D’Andrei Hurd, professionally known as “Drei,” is a music director, composer, producer, and sound engineer with 26 years of experience directing live bands, performing, and producing music across studio and stage environments. His work is rooted in gospel and jazz, informed by soul and contemporary influences, and marked by musical precision, feel, and professionalism.
Drei released his debut jazz single on January 7, 2025, establishing a focused artistic direction that continued with the release of his full jazz project on January 19, 2026. His recent releases highlight his strengths as a composer, arranger, and musical leader, blending expressive musicianship with polished production.
In addition to his recorded work, Drei has performed as a featured behind-the-artist musician at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, contributing to live performances that honor the tradition of jazz/gospel while advancing its modern expression.
