About the event

This Arkansas native brings a soulful sound to music that will give you that feel good encouragement needed in today’s industry. From cover tunes to original artistry, Delya is sure to capture the hearts and ears of her listeners. Delya is featured on the jazz album entitled “Going Home- A Tribute to Duke Ellington”, dedicated to the late and great musician, Duke Ellington. The album features several award-winning artists such as Gregory Hines, Grady Tate, Otis Clay, Kirk Whalum and Take 6, to name a few.

Since that time, Delya has recorded 2 EPs of her own, a self-written solo project called Breakthrough, featuring and produced by Thomas “Big Keys” Booth and a Christmas project entitled Comfort and Joy taking traditional Christmas hymns and expressing a more modern spin on them. This album was produced by maestros Sam Carroll and Bailey Hinton.

In addition to her own music, Delya has graciously sang behind famous musical artists such as gospel artists Kim Burrel, the late O’landa Draper, Patrick Lundy, and many more by way of her former church, Trumpet In Zion in Little Rock, AR. She’s been an opening act for male R&B group Jagged Edge and recording artist, Carl Thomas. She’s enjoyed singing at the Cotton Club in New York, singing the National Anthem at several venues across the US and gracing several musical stages in her career.
