About the event
D.K. Harrell hails from Ruston,La and at 24 years old has performed with/for some the of the greatest from Gary Clark Jr, Kingfish Ingram ,Tony Coleman and Tedeschi-Trucks. He is known to be a star disciple of B.B. King. Picking up guitar at 13 and having his first gig be the 2019 bb king symposium every year that has followed has led to wonderful outcomes for this young man’s career. Dk delivers in the tradition of BB king while providing a fresh perspective of classic blues. The DK Harrell blues band was established October of 2021 and has a class of well respected musicians such as Slim Harpo Award winning bass player Miguel Hernandez , Entrepreneur/Drummer Arrington Allen, and and phil breen the former pianist for Samantha fish on the keyboard
