Family tradition runs deep in the roots of this Mississippi based band. All five members of this country band are from musical families and include cousins, Danny Necaise Jr & Myles Ladner and brothers, Tommy & Gene Moran and Blake Werner. Danny & Blake have followed in their father’s musical footsteps. From local bars to festivals to the big stage of the Hancock County Fair, D Jr and the Shine Soul Band has a faithful following that has become like family. They show up to sing and dance along as the band entertains them with a variety of classic country hits to today’s number one songs mixed with some rock, pop and even gospel hymns. One thing is for sure…..when Danny, Blake, Myles, Tommy & Gene step on to a stage, they definitely let their Soul Shine!
