About the event

Cary Laine, the blue eyed beauty from the beaches of Alabama may be the biggest thing to enter the Alt Country and Americana music scene since Dolly Parton. Armed with an acoustic guitar and a powerhouse voice, her tone can put it's listener at immediate attention as she delivers her message with no apologies. Since her national introduction on NBC's The Voice (and turning all four chairs) , Cary has been touring the country and writing new material as well as releasing her first ever full length album, Miss Alabama. She is readying to release a whole new batch of sassy songs in a brand new EP dropping in 2023. The Voice was a catalyst to Laine's career, growing her fan base to hundreds of thousands within days. After parting with the show, it was only natural to get back to writing and back to her southern roots. Laine has something to prove, something to say. She is more than the girl on The Voice with the red cowboy boots.

John Carter hailing from Gulfport, MS, discovered his passion for music at the age of 13. Influenced by a diverse range of genres, he eventually fell in love with country and classic R&B. Garth Brooks, his favorite artist growing up, served as a major inspiration in shaping his musical journey. With a remarkable blend of influences, John has crafted a unique sound that resonates with the soul of Mississippi.
